Yes, when used correctly our storage beds are safe. For ease of operation our ottoman beds have powerful gas springs to assist the lifting of the mechanism and mattress. The gas springs we use are reliable and have an excellent safety record. In the event of your bed being harder to lift than usual, please contact us for a safety check. Our springs are easy to replace.
For additional safety, especially if you have a heavy mattress, a support prop is available for all models, this is easy to install and when used correctly, it ensures 100% the bed can not close unintentionally.

Whilst the operation of all our beds is similar, the main difference between the models, apart the the very obvious styling changes is the amount of storage they offer. Low, for example, is designed as a low bed (great for lofts) and has 20cm of storage, whereas Max has the deepest storage area, which provides up to 40cm. Don't be fooled by our beds on legs, they will surprise you with massive storage capacities too.
