Dont be forced into thinking you need a special mattress for a storage bed, you don't ( well not with ours). Furl storage beds have the most sturdy frame with orthopedic slats, that can handle any mattress.

We designed our beds in sections, for ease of access into your room and easy assembly, which we take care of. When its time to move on, to a bigger place or city, we've thought of that too. Our beds disassemble and reassemble perfectly each time.

We've been making our wood beds for a long time, we used to be so proud that we used solid wood, a tree would arrive at our workshops, we'd lovingly cut, plane, sand and shape the tree into a bed, it was a beautiful thing.
In 2019, wood prices increased so much that we had to stop offering wood beds, they were simply not affordable so we had a break, and a rethink. The reason for the increase in cost was not greedy lumberjacks, it was driven by short supply, this was a sustainability issue that we had to address.
After a break of almost 3 years, we re-introduced our wood beds using FSC, sustainable real wood veneers, at close inspection an expert might see a slight difference, but the quality or our beds improved significantly, its reduced waste by 60%, the cost is now affordable and the structure of the bed is more stable.
We feel a certain responsibility when working with wood, we treat it with respect, we value the time its taken to grow and we want it to be enjoyed for a lifetime.

We don't just sell sofa beds, we design them, manufacture them, thoroughly test (sleep on ) them, show them to you in our showrooms and deliver and assemble them. Based in Nottingham, we're a team of passionate people who love what they do.

The bigger your bed, the better you sleep - That's a proven fact.
We offer 8, covering all popular UK and EU mattress sizes.
The footprint of our beds is small. Our frames are just 2cm.
We can also make custom sizes, like Long Doubles or Short Kings... just ask.
If you want more storage or a higher bed, this is the option to add.
We offer you a further 5cm of height and storage.
Not only is the increased storage useful, but the extra height makes it easier for some to get in and out of the bed!

We came up with this idea because ironing boards are always in the way and often falling out of the cupboard when you open the door! This option solves that problem instantly. It's best paired, (but not essential) with an electric mechanism to allow for the extra weight.

Carefully chosen for your sleep comfort, our storage bed range includes the very best mattress technologies for an exceptional sleep experience every night. All our mattresses have the No-Turn Easy Care feature which removes the need for it to be turned.
If using your own mattress we recommend a maximum mattress weight of: Single beds 35kg (end opening), 45kg (side opening) | Small Double, Double, Continental Double, King Size beds 45kg (end opening), 55kg (side opening) | Continental King, Super King, Emperor beds 50kg (end opening), 55kg (side opening).

Storage is of course at the heart of all our storage beds, we’ve worked so hard to fit as much capacity to every storage bed we make, even the slimmest has got meaningful storage, what’s meaningful storage? Well, we like to think that luggage is one of the most practical items you can store under a bed, so even our models with the least amount of storage are still deep enough for cabin luggage.
