David set up the Sofa Bed Company in 2007, now known as Furl®. He’s personally involved in every step of the process, from design to delivery. David wants it to be a pleasure buying a sofa bed who, along with the team, is always available to help and offer expert advice.
Jean works along side Sue turning a roll of fabric or hide of leather into the right size and shape for your product.
Simon is our senior upholster. He has 30 years experience working with all different types of furniture. Simon also plays a role in the design process turning Davids ideas into working prototypes and then real products.
Sue is our specialist seamstress who expertly turns a roll of fabric or hide of leather into the right size and shape for your product, working closely with David and Simon when prototyping she's very patient and always forgiving.
Stuart & Gregor take the prepared components and finish your order, together they have masses of technical knowledge gained through upholstering quality furniture for over 50 years.
Darren cuts and assembles the wooden parts for your bed and headboard. this is a skilled job that requires the perfect sizing and finish every time.
